ABOUT MARY VALLONI
Â
There is a particular kind of leader I built my life's work to serve.
You have given everything to a mission that matters. You have built something real... a team, a vision, an organization that is changing lives. And you have arrived at a moment where what got you here is no longer enough to get you where you're called to go.
I know that moment. I have sat across from thousands of leaders inside it. And I have spent over two decades learning exactly what it takes to move through it.
Â
MY STORY
Â
I grew up in North Dakota as the youngest of seven kids, which means I learned early how to work hard, get creative, and make something out of very little. That instinct never left me.
After earning my degree in Organizational Communication from Missouri State University, I stepped into full-time nonprofit fundraising and spent over a decade working with some of the most recognized organizations in the United States — the American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, and the ALS Association — moving from administrative assistant to development director and raising tens of millions of dollars for missions that deserved to be funded.
In 2013, everything shifted. My father was diagnosed with terminal cancer while I was working for the American Cancer Society. After he passed, I found myself asking some really tough questions. Who was I called to be? Who was I meant to serve? What was my God-given purpose?
That season of grief and reflection became the foundation of everything I do today.
Â
WHAT I'VE BUILT SINCE
Â
I launched my consulting practice in 2014 and have spent the years since working alongside nonprofit founders, executive directors, and ministry leaders who are building organizations that outlast them. I am the author of two bestselling books — Fundraising Freedom and Fully Funded — and the co-founder of Fully Funded Academy, a training organization for Christian missionaries.
I believe transformation happens at every level of proximity. Through Fully Funded Academy I have had the privilege of walking alongside thousands of Christian missionaries as they step into the fullness of their calling. And for a select number of nonprofit and ministry leaders, I offer a private advisory relationship, where someone who has been where you are sits across from you, tells you the truth, and helps you build a clear path forward.

TODAY
Â
These days I live and work from the Riviera Maya in Mexico with my husband, our daughter, and our Dalmatian. The pace of life here is intentional, and so is the work. I take on a small number of advisory clients at a time, which means when we work together, you have my full attention, my full experience, and my full investment in what you are building.
If you are ready for that kind of partnership, I would love to hear about your vision.
